Had brunch as a family - my partner had been before and he liked it. Lovely warm fire inside on a freezing January day. Very clean - especially the toilets. Varied menu to choose from. Service was quick and helpful. Me and my elderly mum had rarebit & salad. My partner had a full breakfast stack sandwich. Freshly cooked, good quality ingredients, generous portions and a lovely big pot of tea. It's more of a cafe than a restaurant or tea-room - highly recommend.

We were a party of eight having birthday brunch for an older member of the family. The staff members were extremely helpful and kind, given the number of orders, variations, needs and wants! Lovely food and warm atmosphere. We’ve visited in smaller groups over many years, and always enjoyed it, but we were impressed and grateful for the attention and care we were shown today. Thank you.

We visited the campsite which was well maintained and appointed, with washing up facilities, toilets and showers. The pitches were also spread out well meaning you had enough space. The food in the cafe was superb and you could see that only the best ingredients are used, so you don’t need to worry about food. The staff are friendly and helpful and the owner is always on hand to help and very active in all aspects of the farm/business. We really enjoyed our stay.

Visited the cafe a few times now with family and granddaughter. Aside from being good value, this cafe is very welcoming, with friendly, helpful staff and excellent food. The great thing is that it’s the same every time you visit. It’s not plush but it’s relaxing and cozy. Perfect.

We visited for lunch after seeing the Facebook posts on our village page, and it was amazing! Lovely selection of wonderful food, very reasonably priced and delicious! The service was fantastic and we will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you!

Stopped for food on our way home from my in laws, The service was brilliant, the roast beef was lovely and the sausage rolls we bought for later were absolutely divine!
